
DENISE PRASSER PUBLISHER'S AGENT
Born in London, Denise also lived in Germany and Singapore where her father, a colonel in the British Army, took postings before coming to Australia when Denise was 12.
Denise attended St Hilda’s School on the Gold Coast before attaining a Bachelor of Arts at Queensland University. She also holds a Diploma of Paralegal Studies and is a JP.
She has been a paymaster in PNG, a travel consultant in Victoria and NSW, a voluntary worker while living in Malaysia and The Philippines, Queensland Manager of Showbiz International and a court officer at Southport Magistrates Court.
From 2002 to 2008, Denise was a paralegal and manager of the family law department of the Gold Coast law firm, Small Myers Hughes. Her work included preparing simple wills, powers of attorney, Family Court forms, Financial Statements and handling divorce applications. She co-ordinated the delivery of services to clients; provided legal support to lawyers; handled accounts management and witnessed documents as a JP.
Denise recently completed a six month sabbatical in Suzhou, China, working as an English teacher at Baodai Experimental Primary School, before returning here to take on the new role of PA to the authors of The Family Law Book.
